With Restaurant Week finally coming to a close, Chicago food lovers can focus on other delicious things—namely, some awesome food festivals in the months to come. There are two great festivals in February and March for which you should buy tickets and a classic Chicago food event coming in the summer.

First on the list: Chicago's first annual Taco Fest. The event is on February 21 at Mago in the South Loop, and features a taco competition between 13 different restaurants. Tickets are $30, and proceeds go to the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Participants include Latinicity, Antique Taco, Seoul Taco, Takito Kitchen, Rojo Gusano and more. Tickets are on sale now.

A couple of weeks later, eat your fill of delicious Chowdah during Chowdah Fest as it returns for its seventh year. The festival, which takes place on board a ship at the Columbia Yacht Club, features a lineup of some of Chicago's best chefs making their take on chowdah. Tickets are $40 if you get them early, and guests get to taste all the chowders and sip on wine and beer. There's also a dessert spread. Proceeds go to benefit the Sea Scouts.

Dates have been announced for Ribfest, one of the most popular food festivals in the city. The festival, which last year featured ribs from 15 different vendors and a ton of other awesome food, has been featured on the food network and is generally a giant meaty party. This year's event will take place on June 9, 10 and 11. We'll share more details as they come in.
