Body Found In Chicago River Near Downtown

400 block of S Wacker Dr.

Officials recovered a man's body from the Chicago River in the Loop on Sunday evening, according to police.

The Chicago Police Marine Unit pulled the body from the river near the 400 block of S. Wacker Dr. at around 5 p.m. on Sunday, police said. The man was pronounced dead on the scene. The man's identity has not yet been released.

Police also found a body in the Chicago River on Thursday morning, near the Chicago Avenue bridge.
