Today is the last day for Andersonville institution The Swedish Bakery. After 88 years in business, they're serving up their last princess cake. However, Chicago isn't letting them go without some serious love.
Lines have been building at the Swedish Bakery all day, thanks to a combination of nostalgia and Fat Tuesday/Paczki Day. At 7:00 a.m., the line had nearly 100 people in it.

As early as 2 a.m., lines stretched down the block, and TV new crews were on site to capture it.

We've heard rumors of hours-long lines every day for the last week or so, but today is sure to be the big one. If you want to say goodbye (and can take a few hours off of work), now's your last chance.
