A man was stabbed on a Loop-bound Blue Line train Saturday morning during a fight on the train, according to police.
The 34-year-old man reportedly got into an argument with another man on the train around 7:56 a.m. The argument turned into a scuffle, police said, and the unknown passenger stabbed the man in the right ankle before fleeing the train when it arrived at the Jefferson Park station, in the 4900 block of North Milwaukee Avenue.
The man who was stabbed was taken to Community First Hospital in stable condition, and police say no one is in custody from the stabbing at this time.
