The classic Tudor estate in Lake Forest, Illinois, where celebrity Mr. T once famously "massacred" a set of trees, is back on the market for $7.5 million.

The mansion at 39 N. Greenbay Rd. was built in 1910 by designer Harrie T. Lindebergh, and later renovated by architect David Adler and landscape architect Jens Jensen. TV actor Mr. T bought the estate in 1986 from the family of Illinois meatpacking industry titan Laurance Armour for $1.7 million.

Dubbed "Two Gabbles," the 14,000 square foot home has nine bedrooms and 10 bathrooms on 7.5 acres of land. It also counted ten fire places and an elevator.

Mr. T reportedly complained of allergies while living there, and famously made headlines and stirred up the ire of his Lake Forest neighbors by hiring a crew to cut down over one hundred oak, elm and maple trees on the property. According to the New York Times, neighbors called it "The Lake Forest Chain Saw Massacre" and inspired local lawmakers to create a tree preservation ordinance forbidding residents from chopping down trees on their property.
