A Jewish school on the North Side evacuated its premises this morning after receiving a bomb threat, according to police.
Chicago Jewish Day School, located in the 5900 block of North Sheridan Road, was evacuated at roughly 9 a.m. CPD officers and "canine officers" are on the scene investigating.
There are traffic closures on Sheridan as a result, from Hollywood to Granville.
The school runs from kindergarten through eighth grade, and has roughly 200 students, according to its website.
Anti-Semitic incidents have been on the rise in the U.S. since President Donald Trump's inauguration in January.
