The Far South Side hosted its 39th annual South Side Irish Parade Sunday morning, as a stream of green-clad St. Patrick's Day revelers paraded along Western Avenue. The parade, which ran from 103rd to 115th Streets between West Beverley and Morgan Park, is the one of the largest neighborhood-focused St. Patrick's Day events outside of Ireland, according to organizers.

Thousands of spectators turned out despite Sunday's below-freezing day, and our photographer was there to capture some of the festivities, above. You can also check out our photos from Saturday's annual Chicago River Dyeing and downtown parade.
