Man Found Dead Holding A Gun In Avondale Alley

A 25-year-old man was found dead, holding a gun, early Thursday morning in Avondale, according to police.
The man was found by police officers around 4:50 a.m. in the 2800 block of West Nelson Street, and pronounced dead. Police said they found the gun in the man's hand, and the man's IDs were found nearby.
"At this time, the victim’s injuries and cause of death are unknown," police said, and they are investigating his death.
