A stolen truck plowed into a Currency Exchange near one of the city's busiest biking intersections on Wednesday morning, according to police and reports. Luckily, no one was struck or injured.

Two men fled the scene after a 1991 white Chevy pickup going southeast crashed into a building in the 800 block of N Milwaukee Ave at around 4:05 a.m. on Wednesday morning, according to police. Authorities believe the truck was stolen, ABC7 reports.

The crash happened just northwest of the intersection of Milwaukee and W Chicago Ave, along one of Chicago's most heavily trafficked bike routes.

"It would have been seriously bad news for a cyclist at that time (which I am)," commuter Paul England, who came upon the crash site at around 7:10 a.m., told Chicagoist.

Thousands of people use Milwaukee Ave. to bike to work each day, according to cycling advocacy group Active Transportation Alliance.
