You Can Soon Snag A Slice Of Portillo's Cake For 54 Cents

Portillo's cake has been known to inspire some seriously rabid devotion, and to celebrate its Sweet 54th, the Chicagoland staple will soon be offering up some cheap sweets.

For one day—Thursday, April 6—all Chicago area Portillo's spots will offer a slice of chocolate cake for 54 cents, in honor of the Chicago-style chain's 54th anniversary. (Sorry, lemon lovers, you'll have to hold out hope for another birthday.)

"We would not be here without two important ingredients - our founder, Dick Portillo, and our devoted fans across the United States,” said CEO Keith Kinsey in a release. "The Portillo's team looks forward to celebrating this milestone with our customers."

Limit is one 54-cent slice per customer while slices last. You can find out locations here, and cue the Rihanna below:
