1 Dead, 4 Wounded In Friday Afternoon Shooting In Austin

A mass-shooting in Austin, on Chicago's West Side, killed one personal and left four wounded Friday afternoon, according to police.
The shooting took place around 1:40 p.m. near Central Avenue and Lake Street, in the 5600 block of West Lake Street. According to preliminary police information, one victim was transported to Loyola Hospital and pronounced dead.
The CTA re-routed #85 Central Avenue buses in both directions as a result of the shooting.
85 Central buses are temporarily rerouted via Central, Lake, Austin, Washington, and Central.
