still from Star Wars cantina scene.

On May 4, The Whistler will host its second Star Wars event. Titled "Star Wars Night: May the 4th Be With You", it will be a no-cover Thursday night shindig with "Star Wars-inspired cocktails" and a show from Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes—a.k.a. the cantina band. Of aliens.

(They have a really detailed Wikipedia page that will answer so many questions you didn't have.)

This isn't the Whistler's first foray into Star Wars fandom. In 2015, the Logan Square bar dressed up as the Star Wars cantina in honor of the release of The Force Awakens. It was a madhouse, with lines down the street. You can probably expect something similar this time around.

We've reached out to the Whistler for details on the "Star Wars-themed cocktails , but for now, we only have the menu from last time around—when Eater reported that specials included "Tattoine Sunset" (Malört, St. Germain, Peychaud's Bitters).
