Chicago's next mayor (hey, it could happen) is about to turn 24 and to celebrate, he's throwing an event this weekend called (appropriately enough) Chance the Birthday.

The Chatham-native and Grammy-winning rappers announced the shindig on Wednesday morning. It goes down at Studio Paris on April 16 and should be a pretty good way to spend Easter Sunday, we'd say. Details are sketchy: Chance is promising "special guests" but hasn't let on much beyond that. All proceeds benefit his Social Works charity, and tickets are available here at Studio Paris. (It's the same spot where Chance hosted his festival afterparty last year.) General admission tickets cost $100 and VIP tables range from $2,000 to $2,500. (Remember, it's for a good cause.)

When not occupied with saving Chicago Public Schools from grossly ineffectual government, Chance has stayed busy as of late with his super-secret Magnificent Coloring World 2, which went down on Saturday and just might (we hope) be heading to Netflix.

Happy b-day, Chano!
