Two teenagers were shot in Logan Square Monday evening, making them the third and fourth teenagers to be shot on that block since March.

In the most recent shooting, which took place in the 2400 block of West Moffat Street just south of the Western Blue Line CTA station at about 7:10 p.m. Monday, a 16-year-old and a 18-year-old were shot inside an apartment. Police say they found the pair inside the home after receiving a call about a shooting.

The 18-year-old was in critical condition after receiving a gunshot wound to the neck, and was taken to Stroger Hospital to be treated. The other boy was shot in the hand and taken in good condition to St. Mary's Hospital, according to police. No one is in custody in the shooting at this time, but Chicago's Area North division is investigating.

The Tribune noted that this is the third time police responded to a shooting on that block this year—in March, two boys, 16 and 17, were shot within a span of nine hours on the same block.

There were at least two other shootings Monday evening, according to the Tribune: A 17-year-old was shot in Austin around 7:50 p.m. while in his car, and a 23-year-old man was shot in the back and buttocks while in a car in Englewood.
