The Chicago Police Department released photos of a teenage girl suspected of committing robberies on the CTA in hopes that the surveillance photos will help them catch her.
The photos were released Wednesday along with an alert warning of two recent robberies on the CTA Green and Pink lines. In each robbery, which took place May 4 in the afternoon at 12:50 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., a teenage girl approached train riders, took property from their hands and then fled the train, according to police.
The girl was described by police as black, about 17 years old, 5'4," and between 110 and 130 pounds. The surveillance photos, above, show a young woman exiting the train at the Ashland Green Line station while someone runs after her and tries to catch her.
