Shake Shack has announced the opening of their latest Chicago location in the West Loop. The fourth Chicago location will be opened on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at 185 N. Morgan St., which is right next to the the Green and Pink Lines' Morgan and Lake Station.

Though they are within striking distance of burger heavy-hitters Grange Hall and Au Cheval, we're sure they'll be just fine. Locations in River North, at the Athletic Association in the Loop and Old Orchard have been doing brisk business, and Shake Shack's fast casual concept puts them at a lower price point than the other sit-down restaurants in the area. The New York City-based chain is known for its burgers, crinkle-cut fries, fried chick'n sandwich and frozen custard concoctions. They serve beer and wine, too.

It sounds like Shake Shack has the West Loop vibe nailed: the newest location features a wheat paste installation by local artist Don't Fret inspired by poet Carl Sandburg, and the tabletops are made from reclaimed bowling alley lanes.
