Photos: This Is How It Looks Inside Logan Square's $2.5M, Brick & Timber Bow Truss Loft

The unassuming brick structure you might pass all the time if you frequent The 606 is actually an architecturally stunning, 7,000+ square foot home—and if that didn't sound extravagant enough, it's on sale right now for $2.5 million.

The home is situated on a double lot at 2436 W. Bloomingdale Ave., right across from The 606's elevated trail. It's chock full of fancy details, including timber bow truss-style, 23-foot ceilings, an 18x33 foot glass enclosed deck and a private roof terrace. The three-story home has six bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms, plus it's zoned as a live-work space, meaning the options for what you could do with the home (if you had $2.5 million sitting around, or perhaps a booming avocado toast business, that is) are pretty endless.

The home used to be an auto mechanic's garage, according to Curbed—a historical detail that is perhaps most meaningful when considering Logan Square's rapid gentrification. The home was first listed last year at $2.85 million, and is now down to $2.5 million after not selling at higher price points.
