From time to time, we like to check in with our neighbors up the road in Milwaukee—whether it's to scope their food and dining scene for a road-trip getaway or check out their loaded Summerfest lineup. Still, we generally don't have much occasion to keep up with their real-estate market. But this one is different.

One of the city's most famous curiosities, the so-called Boat House (not to be confused with a houseboat) is now on the market, listed for $389,000. Built in 1922, the has been owned by the same family for several decades, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, so the opportunity to buy has been practically nonexistent. The property has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms—but more importantly, it looks like a giant boat.

You can check out the Milwaukee landmark, which is justifiably included on the city's register of historic places, in the gallery above. Ahoy!
