Photos: Our Incredibly NSFW Night With Chicago's World Naked Bike Ride
By Rachel Cromidas in Arts & Entertainment on Jun 11, 2017 5:00AM
The temperatures were pushing 90 degrees in Chicago Saturday evening, making it all the easier for hundreds of scantily-clad cyclists to strip down in a semi-secret West Loop location and otherwise prepare for the annual World Naked Bike Ride.
The homage to self-expression, car-free lifestyles, environmental protection and pasties hit the road around sundown and traced a miles-long route around the city over four hours, dodging catcallers and summer traffic jams. Our photographer was on hand to bring us some of the most colorful sights from the World Naked Bike Ride.
In the spirit of the ride, it was our policy to ask first, and to avoid photographing people who did not consent to be photographed—but if we mistakenly posted a photo of you that you don't want online, please email tips@chicagoist.com, and we'll make sure it's removed.
