Photos: Spring Awakening's Bright, Bonkers Style Wins Fest Fashion

The EDM crowd doesn't do sensible functionalism, god love 'em. This weekend's Spring Awakening Music festival, the annual three-day dance-music blowout at Addams-Medill Park, offered more spectacular proof.

In EDM culture, of course, even the expected stylings run from candy-colored dazzle to give-no-F's brash. Think fuzzy rave boots, bespoke deadmau5 masks, kandi bracelets and enough fishnet to circle the globe. Over three days on the ground, we also caught weed-print socks, techno-Viking fare, a shark furry costume (doubly impressive given the heat), some Mortal Kombat cosplay and some sort of dinosaur-floatie bodysuit contraption.
