On the one year anniversary of the horrific mass shooting inside Orlando's Pulse Nightclub that killed 49 LGBTQ people, nearly 200 Chicagoans gathered in Boystown for a somber vigil honoring the shooting victims.
The vigil too place at the Center on Halsted, and the Windy City Gay Chorus and the Windy City Treble Quire each performed a song. Organizers rang a bell and read out the names of each shooting victim. Above are photos from the poignant memorial, including a beautiful set of wings one attendee made out of ribbons to honor the victims.
