2 People Were Stabbed At North Avenue Beach Tuesday Evening

Two people were stabbed at North Avenue Beach Tuesday evening, according to police, after a domestic-related dispute broke out between two men.

One of the men, 25, was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition after being stabbed in the chest, and the other, 35, was taken there in serious condition after being stabbed in the face, hand and knee. According to police, the stabbings occurred with a knife and a sharp broken bottle.

The stabbing took place around 6:50 p.m. in the 1600 block of North Lake Shore Drive.
