YouTube-Celeb Singer Austin Jones Charged With Child Pornography

A Chicagoland-based Internet-celeb singer whose videos have racked up millions of views is facing is charged with two counts of child pornography production. Austin Jones, of suburban Bloomingdale, allegedly asked two underage girls to record and send him sexually explicit videos, according to reports.

The complainants are two teens, identified as Victim A and Victim B, around 14 years old. In one chat, Jones allegedly asked one of the victims to "prove" it when she said she was his biggest fan. Jones allegedly directed one girl to "make it clap super loud and talk about your age the whole time" while dancing explicitly. Jones allegedly told the girls how to perform sexual acts and directed them on what to wear and what to say in the videos, according to USA Today.

"I seriously shouldn't be talking to you," Jones allegedly told one of the victims.

Jones, 24, was arrested on Monday at O'Hare International Airport and appeared in court on Tuesday in Chicago, where he told a judge he understood the charges against him. Is due back in front of a judge on Wednesday for a bond court appearance. Prosecutors will reportedly argue against his being released from federal custody.
