3 New Restaurants Are Heading To North Avenue Beach's Upcoming Shore Club

By Stephen Gossett in Food on Jul 5, 2017 6:22PM

Three new eateries will set up shop inside an upcoming space set to land near North Ave. beach later this summer.

The concept, dubbed Shore Club announced on Wednesday morning, looks to "create an elevated hospitality experience on North Avenue Beach," according to co-partner Robbie Schloss in a release, about the busy locale that's so far not always exactly known for its "elevation." The lakefront combo venue will pitch a spot between the trails near the always-packed-at-summer beach, at 1603 North Lakeshore Drive.

Shore Club—which will have floor-to-ceiling windows to maintain waterfront views—will include three spaces: The Patio at Shore Club, The Restaurant at Shore Club, and The Oasis at Shore Club.

Patio will be an open-air, lunch-and-dinner, no-reservations spot, with rotating workshops, cooking classes and art exhibitions. The beachy-vibes Restaurant will be more upscale but will also feature a “country club”-style brunch, with different food stations to hop to and from. Reservations are recommended for The Restaurant. The Oasis (reservations required) will have small plates and larger entrees, plus cocktails, sunbeds, daybeds and a cabana.

Expect a Mediterranean-inspired menu with a seafood focus.

Shore Club is expected to open in August of this year. You can check out menus, hours, and make reservations here.
