Photos: Glimpse The Excellent Food & Music Of Taste Of Chicago

Taste of Chicago is here through Sunday, serving up sample-sized portions of some of the city's top foodie fare and popular local musical acts all weekend.
The downtown food festival with a side of music kicked off Wednesday and runs through Sunday with a slew of musical acts, including Twin Peaks Friday night, Passion Pit and The Kickback on Saturday, and The O'Jays and Maurice Jackson's Independents on Sunday. In terms of food, you'll be able to sample from 67-some local restaurants and food trucks, including about 17 new restaurants entering the frenzy for the first time this year.
Our photographer was there Thursday to check out performances from Café Tacvba, ¡Esso! Afrojam Funkbeat with Los Vicios de Papá and more, and snap some of the tasty appetizers. Have a look at the photos, above.
