Man Shot In The Loop Monday Afternoon Near Lower Wacker & Michigan Avenue

A man was shot in the Loop Monday afternoon, on one of downtown's lower level streets just off Michigan Avenue.

According to police, the 33-year-old man was shot in the 200 block of North Garland Court around 3 p.m. He drove himself to a nearby hospital, where he was treated for a gunshot wound to his side and released Monday evening.

The man was reportedly driving in a car when another man nearby shot at him. Police say the man who was shot did not cooperate with investigators.
