Blink-182 Will Play A Lollapalooza Aftershow At Metro

Blink-182 won't just be headlining Lollapalooza next month, they'll also be making time to play a more intimate gig, at The Metro on Aug. 3.
This pairing makes sense since Blink-182 singer-guitarist Matt Skiba has played his fair share of shows at the legendary Chicago venue while fronting his other, "little" band, Alkaline Trio.
Tickets for the show go on sale today at 11 a.m., and there is a 2-ticket-per-person limit. This is also a will-call only event, which means no tickets will be mailed out, to help deter ticket resellers from bumping fans out of the show. According to the website, "In order to gain entrance to the event you will need to present the credit card used for this transaction AND provide a government-issued photo ID that matches the name on the card. We’re sorry but no exceptions can be made."
