Longtime River West gastropub Paramount Room is calling it quits this fall.

The noted two-level New American spot, at 415 N. Milwaukee Ave., will close its doors at the end of September, roughly one month after marks its 10th anniversary, the Tribune reports.

Co-owner Jon Young told the paper that high costs and the demands of other projects (Volo Restaurant Wine Bar and Kitsch'n On Roscoe, both in Roscoe Village) had prompted the upcoming shutter.

Paramount Room opened in 2007 in a former speakeasy and became a popular spot for burgers and craft beer, landing a Michelin Bib Gourmand acknowledgement along the way.

Sept. 30 will be the Room's last day open.
