The Lollapalooza Day 1 Weather Forecast Looks Wet & Ugly

This year's Lolla might not be as idyllic as previous years. Who even knows if Malia Obama will attend? Also, the weather forecast isn't super promising.
Chicago could see afternoon and evening thunderstorms, "damaging wind"—up to 70 mph!—and possible "large hail" on Thursday, the National Weather Service reports.

Hopefully none of this gets as serious as the 2012 storms / sky-floods that forced Lolla officials to evacuate the grounds. Then again, that was kind of awesome.
Following Thursday's potential storms, Friday should be unusually, autumnally cool—the NWS forecasts a high (HIGH) of 67.
If you follow our Lollapalooza survival tips, though, the weather should just make Thursday's shows a little more epic. (Lorde's "Homemade Dynamite" would go perfectly with some lightning, honestly.)
