Someone In Chicago Has A 'COVFEFE' License Plate

By Rachel Cromidas in News on Aug 9, 2017 10:58PM

President Donald Trump may have moved on since the day he tweeted, and then deleted, something about "negative press covfefe," but that doesn't mean we have to. Chicagoans have already been known to troll Trump for his policy agenda, tweets and recorded statements, so it was probably only a matter of time before an Illinois license plate that says "COVFEFE" came onto our radar.

The car was spotted Wednesday afternoon in Logan Square, though as Chicagoan and Instagram user Katie Buitrago points out, this plate has probably been delighting local photographers for a while. We think it speaks for itself:

I wonder how many people have instagrammed this license plate #covfefe

This Illinois resident isn't the only one having fun with the seven-letter, possibly meaningless word/typo: Another COVFEFE car was spotted in Indianapolis earlier this week.
