Watch 'Kim Jong-Un' Threaten To Nuke The Wieners Circle In 'Colbert' Opening Bit

What do you do when so much nuclear sabre-rattling has humanity looking a lot like the blind man teetering at the precipice at the end of Akira Kurosawa's Ran? Well, you can always flip on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and try to point and laugh into the abyss.

Those who took that path last night were treated to a well-placed Chicago reference, as Colbert—who of course cut his comedic chops in Chicago—cold-opened Tuesday night's episode with Kim Jong-Un's "response" to new sanctions. First on the list with a nuke-strike threat? Our very own foul-mouthed hot-dog purveyors The Wieners Circle. (We know it's a divisive place but, c'mon, supreme leader; that's a bit much.)

"Soon you will pay dearly for these new sanctions," says Kim Jong-Un (or so the subtitles twist). "Because our glorious missiles can now reach Chicago." Check out the full clip below.
