At the same time the Museum of Contemporary Art is offering up a blockbuster exhibition, the museum just announced a high-wattage series of talks with three of hip-hop and R&B's leading figures.

Chance the Rapper, Solange Knowles and Vince Staples will each appear in conversation at separate talks this fall as part of the MCA's 50th anniversary celebration. The who's-who conversation series, dubbed In Sight Out, is in partnership with Pitchfork, and will bring different writers from the site to host each conversation. Tickets for each event are $20.

Solange Knowles appears with Chicago music journalist Britt Julious on Wednesday, Sept. 13, at 7:30 p.m. (Tickets on sale Aug. 23 at noon.)

Vince Staples speaks with Pitchfork managing editor Matthew Schnipper on Friday, Oct. 13, at 6 p.m. (Tickets available Sept. 6 at noon.)

Chance the Rapper speaks with writer Adrienne Samuels Gibbs on Friday, Nov. 17, at 6 p.m. (Tickets go on sale Oct. 11 at noon.)

According to press materials, Staples will address his upbringing in Long Beach and his rise to critical and commercial prominence; and Chance's topics will his interest in art philanthropy You don't need us to tell you that that's one reasonably-priced, in-demand lineup for a speaker series. So make note of those ticket dates and get ready to hammer away at the refresh icon.

The MCA also announced the Prime Time: Off Rack event, which brings together elements of fashion, design, and contemporary art with food and drinks, on Saturday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. The great queer rapper Le1f performs.
