Even nearly a year after Hamilton opened in Chicago, trying to score tickets to the 11-Tony-Award-winning phenom can feel like a Sisyphean task, but as the fella says, we are not throwing away our shot.

Broadway in Chicago on Wednesday announced that a new block of tickets for the Chicago production of the still-uber-popular musical will go on sale next week, on Aug. 29 at 10 a.m. This latest block spans performances from Jan. 9 through April 29.

Tickets will be on sale through the usual channels: at the PrivateBank Theatre box office (18 W Monroe Street), by phone at 800-775-2000 or online through www.BroadwayInChicago.com. Tickets cost between $65 - $190 with a select amount of premium seating options available, too. Purchase max is 12 tickets per household.

Short of those options, you can always plug away for those #Ham4Ham $10 lottery tickets. Producers of Hamilton recently released a new app that makes entering the lottery easier than before. The start date on which Chicagoans can begin using the app to enter the drawing coincides with the sale date for the latest ticket block, Aug. 29. So go ahead and carve out some time for Tuesday morning on your calendar now.
