Eataly's All-You-Can-Eat Behemoth Is Returning Next Month & It's Even Bigger This Year

We're often agnostic about all-you-can-eat deals. (Dollar-maximized gorging tends to sound better on paper than it feels in your gut.) But last year's inaugural AYCE blowout at Eataly, known as SeptemberFest, was so promising, so epically wide-ranging that we were happy to change our standard tune—and we're happy to again now that the sophomore edition is not only officially back, but (somehow) expanded even more.

Mark your calendars: the all-access indulge-a-thon returns Friday, Sept. 29, from 6 p.m. to midnight. That's six consecutive hours of excellent, eat-as-much-as-you-can-stand endurance testing, with unlimited food and drinks. But like any good host, Eataly is inviting friends this year. Joining the party this September are Bang Bang Pie & Biscuits, Big Star, Billy Sunday, Dove's Luncheonette, Fat Rice, Honey Butter Fried Chicken, Osteria Langhe, Revolution Brewing, The Violet Hour, and Yusho. So in addition to Eataly's usual menu offerings, you can sample all those top-shelf ringers, all night.

The first round of tickets go on sale Friday, Sept. 1. (We would not delay in clicking "purchase." Last year's edition sold out in less than 48 hours, according to Eataly.) More details will be released that day as well, not that we really need a bigger carrot.
