Hit-And-Run Crash Near Millennium Park Leaves Man Critically Injured

A man was left critically injured in a hit-and-run traffic crash on Sunday night near Millennium Park.

A driver was going south on Columbus, near the 300 block of East Monroe Street, at around 11:11 p.m. when he or she struck struck a 24-year-old man, then drove off, police said. The victim was taken to Northwestern Hospital and listed in critical condition, according to police.

Police do not have anyone in custody as of Monday morning. Authorities are investigating.

No information about the vehicle was available.
