It doesn't feel a thing like fall at the moment, but it is technically autumn now. So we're choosing to ignore the heat wave as much as possible and will ourselves into the season. Luckily, the folks at All Seasons Orchard, in Woodstock, Illinois, are helping make that easier with their epic, nostalgia-stoking corn maze, which as you can see draws loving inspiration from Super Mario Bros.

The classic-Nintendo-nodding maze spans some ten acres, and the path includes games and Mario Bros. trivia, among checkpoint attractions. And they apparently push the 8-bit theme even further with this charmingly silly photo-op background. (Past maze themes include Minions and Scooby-Doo.)

Its not all Mario of course; there are traditional orchard draws like a pumpkin patch, a petting zoo, and (of course) apple-picking at the longtime fall-season go-to. But you know where you'll find us.

All Seasons is open daily through Oct. 29. Check out their visiting page for tickets and more information.
