The Loop's South Water Kitchen To Close in December

Yet another closing to report: South Water Kitchen, the restaurant in the Monaco Hotel (225 N. Wabash Ave.), will be closing in December.
A representative of the hotel alerted us to the news:
The team is honored to have served their guests for the past 15 years and looks forward to welcoming them into the new restaurant where they can experience the same level of heartfelt service, creativity and passion for food and beverage.
Yes, you read right: a new restaurant. This isn't a permanent closing, but a reconcept into something new. There's no word on what that new thing will be just yet.
The final day of service will be Dec. 7. If you're a big fan, make your reservations now.
