The Daily Show's The Donald J. Trump Presidential Twitter Library opened Friday in The Burlington Room at Union Station (225 S. Canal St.). A version of the Library existed in New York prior to it's Chicago debut, and while the new version has many of the same exhibits, it's the first chance for many Midwesterners to get a look at Trump's mastery of the Twitter medium in such a vaunted fashion.
In a statement, The Daily Show described the reasoning behind this scholarly breakdown of Trump's Twitter habits:
Every president since Franklin D. Roosevelt has been honored with a meticulously curated memorial library commemorating the documents of historical value crafted during his time as leader of the free world. Continuing this hallowed tradition, and seeing no need to wait for him to leave office, The Daily Show will once again honor our current president with The Daily Show Presents: The Donald J. Trump Presidential Twitter Library, showcasing our Commander in Chief’s preferred vessel for communicating with the public, his Twitter feed.
We don't want to spoil the installation for you—it really is an immersive experience filled with lots of little fun discoveries throughout—but we did put together a couple photos from its preview to whet your appetite.
The exhibit opened to the public today and runs through Sunday, so hurry up and get over there before it's too late!
The Daily Show's The Donald J. Trump Presidential Twitter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. through Oct. 22, and admission is free.
