Red-Light Cameras Not So Special?
Things were jumping at the Will County Court House. Lisa Stebic's children testified in front of a grand jury yesterday about their mother's disappearance six months ago. Craig Stebic, Lisa's estranged husband and person of interest in the case, hasn't allowed the police to interview his kids, even though they're two of the last people to see her. Lisa's family says they wanted the kids to be interviewed at a child advocacy center instead, rather than formal proceedings of a grand jury.
In other news about missing suburban women with suspicious husbands, Drew Peterson also testified in front of a grand jury yesterday, but it's not clear if he was testifying about his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, or his third wife, the late Kathleen Savio. Will County States Attorney James Glasgow (definitely in the running for best lawyer 'stache ever) says his office is revisiting the investigation into Savio's death, which was ruled accidental but is now the garnering new attention.

I think both of them should be given to the Marines for interigation like they do in Iraq. Maybe a little waterboarding.
You just know they both killed the wives.
Why should they get to go waterboarding? It ain't cheap. When I was in Lake Geneva it cost 80 dollars just to rent a boat and then my friend almost towed me into a pier.

Spook, you won't find me defending Petersen. There were reportedly a lot of calls for domestic disturbances to his home. I don't have definite information about this.
I am wondering if his department is not kicking itself for not disciplining him for those domestic callls. What are the details? Should heads roll at that department? Maybe. I think that more stuff is going to come out about favoritism towards him. That is going to hurt that dept----even if Peterson is determined to be innocent of the murder.

It might be time to revisit the issue of domestic abuse complaints brought against cops by their girlfriends and wives.
