Extra, Extra

It wasn't your imagination. There really were extra problems on Lake Shore Drive this morning, with 20 vehicles damaged and 3 people injured. Stupid potholes.

Now it's even more convenient for the City to take your money! New robot kiosks now accept payments for your parking tickets, water bills and red-light tickets.

An update to this morning's story about the 4-year-old who was shot and killed: her brother has been charged, as a juvenile, with involuntary manslaughter.

Congratulations, new local landmarks. We will write more about you tomorrow.

Who doesn't want to see large-scale paintings of a nude Bobby Orr? No, he didn't pose. It's the artist's imagination. And now ours, too.

Two men were arrested for a string of violent crimes around UIC. Lawrence Baggett, 26, has been charged with one count of aggravated criminal sexual assault with a firearm and one count of armed robbery with a firearm; Damien Scott, 25, has been charged with two counts of armed robbery with a firearm, two counts of kidnapping while armed with a firearm and possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number. Police are still looking for two additional accomplices.

Even those hardened (well, they might be by these paintings of Orr) Gretzky fans will have to admit that Bobby Orr was the better-looking of the two superstars.

In fact, the amazing Bobby Orr even had a an early 70's "dry look" hairdo that stayed in place even when being double-teamed and cheap-shotted. And there's no way he would stoop to using hairspray. No way.

I am sure the two gentlemam charged for sexual assault and robbery around UIC are really good guys who are just turning there lives around. These two guys are ready to be role models there choir boys its probably the polices fault. The victims probably had it coming.
