Here, Freaky Glowing Kittie Kittie Kittie
You know we love animal stories. But we're a tiny bit freaked out by glow-in-the-dark cats? Mah genetic manipulation! Let me show it to you! [video]
Scientists in South Korea say they've cloned Turkish Angora cats and added a gene that makes their skin glow red when under a UV light. According to the AP report, this means "other genes can also be inserted in the course of cloning."
Freaky deaky or hoax? Well, there are already glow in the dark pigs and mice, so maybe glowcat was the inevitable next creature. No, we have not forgotten about glo worm and his glo friends.
In other genetic engineering news, Japanese scientists have developed a race of mice that aren't afraid of cats.
But even a regular cat can light up your life (zing!). Just look at Ding Dong. She's available for adoption and is really cute.

I see glowing cats and all I can think is "I can has cancer?"
one time my old cat bit into a 4th of july glow in the dark necklace. when we got home we had the lights off and there was glow in the dark kitty footprints all over the house. the only way to find him was to keep the lights off! When we did find him , he had glow in the dark ooze coming out of his mouth and looked like the toxic cat avenger.
