Either that photo was staged, or the store knew exactly what they were doing when they placed condoms and cameras (i.e. impulse purchases) in the alcohol aisle; it certainly wasn't an "accidental" assemblage...
Maybe some store employee was having some fun, or maybe CVS has some internal data showing a correlation of sales of Sutter Home and Trojans. Either way it really surprised me when I walked by and I just had to get the shot.

I prefer to use Durex with Sutter Home and Trojan brand with Bartles and James brand wine coolers. I figure if I am going to be spending so much on a bottle of Sutter Home, save a few buck and get Durex . When I know for a fact it's going to be a crazy night or it's Easter Sunday Eve, I always get Trojan and lots of Bartles and James. There are more flavors and people seem to drink them like water. However I never have figured out why people always throw them away next to the toilet. That trash can overflows everytime. But I digress. Durex = Sutter Home. Trojan = Bartles and James: The "Cooler" One.
Good call Smussy. I agree about Mad Dog being a lifestyle. I actually went through a Mad Dog phase and I used Lifestyle exclusively. Mad Dog and Lifestyles.... Two birds of a feather.
Hahaha. That took me a second to figure out. That's pretty hilarious. Well, I guess that's one night planned out for you!
That's pretty funny. It took me a second to get it also. That's truly excellent.

maybe a CVS employee was trying to give not-so-subtle a hint to his manager or something.
how come wine and disposable cameras are so cheap nowadays, but condoms still cost a fortune? i'll take my chances.
This is where I shopped before I went to YO MOMMA'S HOUSE!
Ok yeah, I'm an idiot. It's still funny though.

@ peteypants
Cheap condoms are like cheap sushi. Neither is worth the risk.
@shame
wise words. i guess i'll be uncorking my $5.99 (with CVS card) bottle of wine solo tonight.
I can assure you that this wasn't staged at all.

What would you recommend I pair with a Mad Dog 20/20 of the red grape variety?
@ pinko: mad dog is a lifestyle choice, so i'd say it's Lifestyles all the way.
