So apparently Tuesday was just a warm-up as the winter - the 7th snowiest in 124 years - is about to pile on. We're under a Winter Storm Warning as of 3 p.m. today through tomorrow and estimate extremes for the city range from 4 inches of snow and ice (on the way South Side) to 9 inches (on the way North Side). Damn. The day will start out calm but then yeah...the whole storm thing. Highs will be in the mid 20s as clouds increase, thicken, lower, etc. throughout the morning. Skilling has your graphic break down, but if you really want to know what it boils down to, here's our advice: buy a bunch of pizza and beer, hunker down tonight, and take tomorrow off to get drunk while you watch Gossip Girl: Season 1 on DVD. It's what we'll be doing. Blergh.
