Korean Food: Where Do You Get Your Fix?

By L. Stolpman in Food on Jul 20, 2010 4:00PM

Korean food has gained popularity and recognition in the past ten years or so. We, biased though we are, love it. And we are always pleased when our non-Korean friends have their first taste of bulgogi and are hooked. Or even when they know that they'd like their gochujang on the side of their dolsot bibimbap - with egg, please. We snapped some pictures of Korean food prepared by Mom herself and thought we'd ask you (in case your Mom isn't kick ass Korean) where you go to get your fix of bulgogi, of bibimbap... and all other things Korean.

Oh, and if you've never tasted Korean barbecue ... Chicago Gluttons recommends San Soo Gap San:

I've eaten at San Soo Gap San three times a week, for the last six months. I've spent over five grand on Korean bbq in 2008. I am not joking. But guess what mfs? I regret nothing. If anything, I want it even more. That's the severity of mouth boner that I have for San Soo Gap San.

Yeah. It's that good.
