City Provisions Deli Opens September 3
After months of building (and a few hard hat tours), City Provisions is set to open its deli at 1816 W. Wilson on September 3.
As mentioned mentioned previously here on Chicagoist, City Provisions owner Cleetus Friedman is sourcing most of the food from within a 200-mile radius of Chicago, will be cut to order meats smoked and butchered on site in a retail space built from reclaimed wood and eco-friendly materials. Friedman also plans on having the deli meet the qualifications of being a Certified Green Restaurant, per the guidelines of the Green Restaurant Association.
