Family and friends of Lynwood police officer Brian Dorian, who allegedly killed one man and wounded two others in a shooting spree last week across Illinois and Indiana, held a fundraiser for Dorian while maintaining that they cannot believe he was involved in the shootings.

Sergeant Tim Smith, who trained Dorian, told ABC7, "The murderer is still out there. Dorian's mother, Diane, said, "Brian is 100 percent innocent and I feel damn sorry for those people out there who think they might be safe right now."

Dorian is expected in court this afternoon for a bond hearing, where Will County prosecutors will outline the case against him, including whether they have ballistics, witnesses or other evidence that connects officer Dorian to the shootings.
