White Mystery Unleashes “Blood & Venom”

Local brother-sister garage rockers White Mystery are preparing for the April 20 release of their second full-length album, Blood & Venom. To give us a little taste, they’ve teamed up with Giant System to release a new, live video for the upcoming album’s title track. It’s a gritty, face-rocking track, opening with a twangy, hypnotic groove before exploding into a frenzy of scuzzy guitar and crashing drums.

The new album is available to pre-order right now through White Mystery’s official site. They’ll celebrate the upcoming full-length with two shows on its release date, April 20 at Panchos. The early show is at 6 p.m. with accompanying acts Loose Dudes and Close Hits, and the late show is at 10 p.m. with Rabble Rabble and Slushy. But if you can’t wait that long, you can catch them next week, Friday, March 25 at the Double Door, opening for Cincinnati rockers The Greenhornes.
