Today's Weather: Play Ball!
Before CMD-SHFT-DANCE (thanks to those who came out last night, by the way), we went to Gold Star for some pre-event drinks. We forget who excitedly said, "baseball season's here, Chuck" — maybe Steven, maybe Jake — but we're glad they did. Anyway, the Cubs open at Wrigley Field against the Pirates and the forecast for today calls for mostly cloudy skies and rain with a high of 49 degrees. The wind is also supposed to be blowing in to the Friendly Confines today.
As for humble editor's White Sox, they start a season of high expectations in Cleveland today. The forecast for the game at Progressive Field calls for clouds and cold with a high of 44.
