The market for houses that hosted John Hughes movies apparently hasn't recovered from the recession yet. The "Home Alone" house in Winnetka still hasn't sold after a few months on the market. The price has dropped from $2.4 million down to $2.175 million. Booby traps and Macauley Caulkin not included. And keep the change, you filthy animal. Also still on the market: Cameron's house from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" in Highland Park Its price has dropped to $969,662.

This picture is exactly why I would never buy this home, assuming I had the capital to spend the $2.175 million.  I'd rather have some privacy than randoms taking pictures of my house every weekend.
