Former Tribune Co. CEO Randy Michaels
Randy Michaels, the man who brought frat house antics to Tribune Co. as its former CEO, turned the office of Colonel Robert McCormick into a makeshift casino and put the final nail in Q101's coffin, was arrested in Ohio on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. That sound you hear in the distance isn't the wind; it's the snickering of scores of local media professionals reacting to the news.

Michaels ( real name Benjamin Homel) was stopped at State Route 122 and I-75 at 2:05 a.m. in Middeltown, OH. He bonded himself out at 5:20 a.m. Friday after he paid $615. We're shocked - shocked, we say - to hear Michaels' christened name isn't "Randy Michaels."

having a fake name is a measuring stick of a person.

  • Too bad you can't ask John Wayne about that.

    As Marion once said:

There is no way to be a leader in Americana except you guys, you gotta control it.

Really? Ty Webb taught me that you measure yourself against other golfers by height. I assumed that could be generally applied.
